TRINITY SELT A2 TEST FOR FURTHER LEAVE TO REMAIN (Extension Visa)
For a Further Leave to Remain (extension visa), required two and a half years after passing an A1 test, you must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level A2 in Speaking and Listening.

- 7 minute speaking and listening test
- Provisional results on the same day
- Certificate usually within 7 days
- Speaking & Listening only
GESE Grade 3 (A2) takes 7 minutes. It’s a one-to-one conversation with a Trinity examiner.
After the test you will receive an exam report form with your provisional result (Pass or Fail). Candidates in the UK can usually expect to receive their Trinity SELT certificate within 7 days.
